Jeff Joseph, QBS

Jeff is originally from Saint-Marc, Haiti but did his early studies in South Florida. After high school, he attended Bowdoin College in the beautiful state of Maine where he studied Mathematics and Economics. Immediately after his undergraduate studies, Jeff completed a masters degree in Biostatistics at Harvard University before starting his PhD in Quantitative Biomedical Sciences at Dartmouth. Jeff's research is around the development of novel machine learning techniques in the context of HIV and neurocognitive function. Jeff was able to develop a passion for science and quantitative work early as a child in Haiti through the guidance of his mentors and older cousins who loved learning. Through the SEPA program Jeff intends to pass along this love of science to the students he will interact with.
